Aeroponics is a science and art of producing pure, disease and pest free seeds in a long lengthy and tedious process which starts from the Tissue culture lab and ends at farmer’s field.

SEKHON’S MINI-TUBERS produced in our state-of-the-art Aeroponics unit and insect proof net houses can revolutionize your current seed production. The aeroponics unit is licensed from the Central Potato Research Institute (CPRI) Shimla and has a capacity to produce 2 million mini-tubers annually. The net houses cover an area of 1,00,000 sq. ft.  having a capacity to produce 3 million mini-tubers.

An approximate size of 13mm and weighing approximately 1.5 grams this product is planted at approximately 150 kg (Nos.100000) tubers per hectare versus traditional seed weighing up to 4,000 kg per hectare. Compact size of mini-tubers saves on costs incurred in storage and transport.
